## Description

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our Water team, focusing on process design for desalination, sewage treatment, and industrial water treatment.

The ideal candidate will have 6-15 years of relevant experience as a graduate environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineer.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct technical reviews of process documents during basic and detail engineering phases, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, codes, standards, and industry practices, particularly in the Middle East markets.

- Provide technical support to pre-contract and project delivery teams on design, construction, and operation of desalination, sewage treatment, and wastewater treatment plants.

- Review off-taker's/end-user specifications, EPC contracts, water/sewage treatment plant purchase agreements, and O&M contracts, ensuring alignment with relevant standards and codes.

- Prepare technical specifications and basic design documents.

- Evaluate technical tender submissions and prepare reports.

- Review contract documents, technical design documents, and financial models.

- Participate in client and contractor meetings as needed.

- Stay updated on technological advancements and industry best practices.

- Ensure knowledge of health and safety requirements and compliance.

- Lead by example in maintaining QMS and project lifecycle compliance.

Mandatory skills:

- Process design for pretreatment, UF, SWRO/BWRO, STPs, and industrial water treatment.

- Experience with SWRO software such as Wave, IMS design, Q+, Toray DS.

- Knowledge of wastewater treatment design using software like BioWin.

- Familiarity with pre- and post-treatment processes, especially in the Middle East region.

- Experience working on large desalination and STP projects, preferably in the Middle East and other regions.

- Selection of mechanical/BOP equipment.

- Calculation and evaluation of specific power and chemical consumption for desalination and wastewater treatment plants.

- Interdisciplinary knowledge to coordinate with mechanical, electrical, C&I, civil, and commissioning teams.

- Preparation of technical specifications for wastewater treatment plants.

- Design review of wastewater treatment plants.

- Validation of specific calculation procedures for desalination plants/equipment.

- Familiarity with international standards like ASME/ANSI, AWWA, WEF, NACE.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, MS Office, and other tools.

Desired skills:

- Experience in advisory roles for desalination, STPs, and wastewater treatment plants, particularly in the Middle East region.

- Knowledge of ISTP/IWWTP/IWP contracts.

- Familiarity with equipment costs.

- Experience in evaluating specific power and chemical consumption.
