## Job Summary

As a Loan Operations Associate at Carta, you will support end-to-end loan onboarding, closings, and operational setup for private credit and direct lending transactions.

## Responsibilities

- Support loan onboarding, closings, and operational setup for private credit and direct lending transactions.

- Process complex loan lifecycle events, including fundings, repayments, prepayments, rollovers, and amendments.

- Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations to maintain data integrity.

- Generate operational reports and respond to stakeholder inquiries.

- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify process inefficiencies and support platform enhancements.

## The Team

You will join Carta's Loan Operations team, which manages loan portfolios end-to-end for private credit and direct lending firms.

## Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in loan operations, private credit operations, fund administration, or commercial lending.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Knowledge of the loan lifecycle, including syndicated loans, direct lending structures, and lifecycle events.

- Experience with modern tools, including AI-powered productivity tools.

- Strong communication and analytical skills.

## Salary

The expected cash compensation range for this role is $105,400.00 - $124,000.00 in New York, NY.
