## Description

This senior leadership role is accountable for integrated strategic communications plans aligned to ViiV's pipeline and portfolio priorities. The successful candidate will lead the Pipeline and Product Communications team and work in close partnership with various stakeholders to build momentum, differentiate ViiV, and contribute to the company's ambition of becoming the LAI Powerhouse.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the global pipeline and product communications strategy

- Act as senior communications business partner to senior leaders

- Lead communications readiness for upcoming treatment and prevention launches

- Build and maintain a clear enterprise view of pipeline, portfolio, and launch milestones

- Oversee development of high-quality communications content

- Work with various stakeholders to ensure effective representation of ViiV's science and pipeline

- Monitor and interpret the external environment to inform communications strategy

- Lead, coach, and prioritize the work of the Pipeline and Product Communications team

- Develop and maintain best practices across Pipeline and Product Communications

- Establish clear objectives, measurable KPIs, and a regular performance rhythm

- Manage product and pipeline communications budgets

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare sector communications

- People management experience

- Experience developing and implementing external communications strategies

- Experience creating content for various audiences

- Experience working with stakeholders across different functions and cultures

- Project management experience

- Experience working in a matrixed team

- Healthcare industry experience, including regulations and codes of conduct

Preferred Qualifications:

- Scientific communications experience in the HIV/infectious disease therapy area

- Comfortable managing ambiguity and multiple priorities
