## Description

Priory Newhouse Kilmarnock is seeking a Bank Senior Support Worker to join their team in Hurlford, near Kilmarnock, Scotland.

The role involves supporting 22 adults with primary learning disability diagnoses, physical health needs, or autism spectrum conditions.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with assessing and implementing individual patient care plans, undertake routine tasks, and ensure residents' wellbeing, dignity, and treatment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Contributing to the development of the service, resolving day-to-day issues, and reporting incidents according to policy and procedures

- Supervising and supporting the delivery of person-centred support and care

- Supporting staff in maintaining effective professional relationships with residents, families, and outside agencies

- Acting as a positive role model, providing effective supervision, and guidance for your team

The ideal candidate will have:

- An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a related area, or an equivalent or higher recognised qualification

- At least an NVQ Level 2, with a commitment to achieving Level 3 within six months

- Previous experience in a care or supported living role

- Strong communication and personal interaction skills
