## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality produce and providing exceptional customer service to customers in the North Walsham area.

You will be driving a well-equipped, modern vehicle, and your main goal will be to provide a friendly and professional service to customers. You will handle customer orders, respond to any issues, and ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent customer service and building relationships with customers

- Handling customer orders, including substitutions and refunds

- Ensuring safe transportation and handling of products

- Conducting vehicle safety checks and maintaining a clean and organized vehicle

- Collaborating with the wider logistics team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

- Valid UK manual car driving license (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Physical ability to lift crates and move large cages (up to 18kg)

- Ability to work varied hours, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends

Desirable skills:

- Previous experience driving for work or knowledge of refrigerated vans

In addition to your contractual pay of £14.31 per hour, you may be eligible for Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour for work completed between 22:00 and 06:00.
