## Description

We are looking for a Director, Product Management, Payments to lead a team of Product Managers responsible for defining and delivering the future of Discover customer payment experiences and capabilities across credit cards and personal loans.

The Payments Platform is key to powering Capital One’s current and future financial products. The goal is to empower customers with real-time intelligent payment experiences which are seamless, personalized and resilient.

As a Director, Product Management, Payments, you will:

- Create a long-term roadmap that supports a broader enterprise vision and industry trends

- Engage Lines of Business (LOBs) to define, prioritize and build reusable capabilities to support payment strategies across the company

- Partner closely with Tech to ensure that the platform architecture can support existing and emerging value drivers

- Collaborate with Program to create and maintain well-defined and sustainable communication channels with our LOB partners

- Ensure the platform is accurate and performant

- Develop and align on the platform’s data posture

- Drive tooling to improve reconciliation

- Enable AI adoption and value

Adept at navigating ambiguity and possessing a deep passion for architecting elegant platform solutions, this leader will bridge the gap between business intent and engineering excellence, partnering with technical leads to build systems that are as robust as they are innovative.

In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
