## Description

As a Director in Capital One's Card Risk organisation, you will apply your leadership and analytical skills to high-profile Risk Management projects.

You will lead a team of Vertical Risk Managers and Risk Specialists, acting as a thought leader across the enterprise to develop and implement cutting-edge Risk solutions.

This role oversees risk management for the Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) business segment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Work with business partners to validate risk processes impacting the company's bottom line

- Consult with Executives to determine interaction models with Lines of Business

- Drive finalisation of risk category and subcategory frameworks

- Perform critical assessments on risk categories to mitigate risk

- Conduct extensive gap assessments and create recommendations for smart business decisions

- Use analytical skills for Risk Process Improvement, Process Design & Process Excellence

- Manage large-scale Process Management/Governance

- Collaborate with dynamic teams on Departmental Process Management & Execution

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

- At least 7 years of experience in risk management or financial services

- At least 5 years of program management experience

- At least 5 years of experience supporting internal business clients

- At least 5 years of people management experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Master's Degree

- 8+ years of Financial Services risk management experience

- 7+ years of experience in Project or Process Management

- 5+ years of internal strategy or management consulting experience

- 7+ years of people management experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA: $206,000 - $235,100 Richmond, VA: $187,300 - $213,700

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation.
