## Description

Stripe is looking for a Commercial Counsel to support its Bridge business, which is building stablecoin infrastructure for companies operating globally.

## Responsibilities

- Support Bridge's commercial team in negotiating complex user and partner agreements.

- Provide advice on commercial and legal issues related to stablecoin products, new product launches, and international expansion.

- Collaborate with Product Legal and Bridge's product and engineering teams to bring new products and features to market.

- Help build Bridge's commercial legal infrastructure, including drafting and maintaining agreements, playbooks, and internal processes.

- Partner with teams across Bridge and Stripe globally, including commercial, operations, product, engineering, tax, compliance, and risk.

- Develop and deliver training and resources to help Bridge's commercial team sell and support its products.

- Serve as a point of escalation for outside counsel.

## Requirements

- Intellectually curious and creative problem solver with experience in fintech, stablecoin, and technology services.

- Self-starter with a bias for action and strong sense of ownership.

- Clear and concise communicator with ability to distill complex issues into plain terms.

- Natural collaborator able to guide cross-functional teams.

- Qualified with good standing membership in at least one US state bar with a JD degree or foreign equivalent.

- 8+ years of relevant experience in-house or in a technology practice group in a top law firm.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in payments, fintech, crypto, or stablecoin businesses and knowledge of associated regulatory issues.

- In-house experience advising high-growth companies.

- Working knowledge of LLM tools and AI technology.
