## Description

We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Havering Court Care Home in Romford. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Havering Court Care Home provides 24-hour care for short stays and long-term nursing, residential, and rehabilitation care. We support people living with complex needs, physical disabilities, respiratory and neurological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and acquired or traumatic brain injuries.

Our care home is set in a peaceful, woodland setting, with comfortable ensuite bedrooms and well-furnished lounge areas. We prioritize our residents' preferences and dietary needs, and our staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home

- Ensuring our residents are kept happy by vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and generally ensuring the upkeep of all communal areas and resident’s bedrooms

- Maintaining housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and raising any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as needed

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others

- The ability to multitask and work with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home
