## Description

Samsara is looking for a Director, GTM AI Engineering to lead the AI Engineering team for GTM. The successful candidate will be responsible for building intelligent workflow experiences, including AI agents and copilots, and leading the team to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

- Build hands-on AI agents, copilots, and workflow automations for GTM teams

- Own the architecture of the shared GTM AI platform

- Design evaluation frameworks for agent and LLM behavior

- Lead with AI day-to-day, using agents and coding assistants in daily work

- Stay ahead of the curve with new models, agent frameworks, and tool ecosystems

- Drive adoption with the field, running demos and earning credibility with reps and frontline managers

- Set the strategy for GTM AI, including data foundations, instrumentation, governance, and observability

- Ship revenue-critical intelligence, owning forecasting, propensity, and CRM data-quality work

- Partner across GTM, Product, and Engineering to find high-value opportunities

- Build for trust, putting a pragmatic responsible-AI approach in place

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, data science, or data platforms

- Meaningful leadership experience

- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM applications and agentic workflows

- Production full-stack and cloud engineering experience

- Demonstrated experience designing and running evaluation frameworks for LLM or agent systems

- Daily, fluent use of AI agents and coding assistants in own work

- A track record of shipping internal or customer-facing AI/ML products with measurable business impact
