## Description

We are seeking a Business Principal Project Manager to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Raymond, Ohio. The successful candidate will have project management responsibility to ensure cost and supply for critical electrical components in the North American supply chain, focused on semiconductors.

The role involves engaging with cross-functional teams and department/division leaders within the Automotive Purchasing Division, as well as large project teams from other business units. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, technical analysis, and problem-solving skills.

**Key Accountabilities:**

- Manage large amounts of project data with good organization and clear evaluation metrics

- Lead the Automotive Purchasing department for assigned projects in areas such as new model or mass production cost

- Ensure accurate budgets are created and maintained

- Conduct in-depth benchmarking activities to further develop insights

- Generate and share information cross-functionally with groups having vested interests in evaluating cost improvement opportunities

- Continuously study developments in the automotive industry to understand latest trends in products and technology

- Collaborate with designated partners for in-depth studies to identify key differences and quantify areas of opportunity

- Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations on the path forward and specific actions to take

- Lead assigned short-term business innovation projects

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:**

- Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field

- 8+ years of relevant work experience

- Strong understanding of Honda SED flow

- Good project management experience, technical analysis, and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Strong presentation skills

- Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to select the best solution for the organization and the business

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with design and purchasing divisions

**Working Conditions:**

- Domestic and international travel may be requested (10%)
