At ICON Strategic Solutions, you will work in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON's global expertise.

As a Senior Medical Technologist at ICON, you will conduct complex laboratory analyses and tests to support clinical trials and research studies.

**Responsibilities**

You will take ownership of scientific operations deliverables, applying your expertise to complex challenges. Key responsibilities include:

- Performing advanced laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

- Overseeing laboratory operations, including sample processing, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

- Collaborating with clinical research teams to support study design and implement laboratory methods that align with project goals.

- Interpreting and validating test results, providing technical expertise, and troubleshooting any laboratory issues that may arise.

- Training and mentoring junior laboratory staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the laboratory environment.

- Participating in the development and implementation of laboratory protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.

- Assisting with audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating adherence to laboratory standards and practices.

**Your Profile**

You will have a strong foundation in scientific operations, with the experience to work independently and guide others. Required qualifications and experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or laboratory science

- Extensive experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and quality assurance processes.

- Proven ability to perform complex laboratory tests and analyses, with expertise in specific areas of medical technology.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic medical records (EMR).

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and ethical practices in laboratory operations.
