## Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to join our RMS Trade Processing team in the Foreign Exchange Technology domain at Deutsche Bank. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving and contributing to the technology strategy, simplifying the technology stack with cutting-edge modern technologies like Google Cloud Suite and Java micro-services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Drive and lead entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals

- Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle

- Design, review, and evolve the architecture of features and services

- Drive test automation for new and existing functionality to improve product quality, reliability, and release confidence

- Provide Level 3 (L3) support for mission-critical applications, troubleshooting complex production issues and ensuring system stability, availability, and performance

**Requirements:**

- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 5+ years in a technical leadership position

- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems

- Hands-on experience applying TDD and BDD practices and designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, observability and monitoring tools, OpenAPI standards, RESTful services, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Kubernetes
