## Description

We are seeking a Waste Operative to join our team in Belfast. As a Waste Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Review and adhere to safe systems of work, policies, and procedures

- Maintain a 'clean as you go' approach

- Wear PPE as directed and keep it in good condition

- Empty waste receptacles as required

- Segregate waste streams properly

- Move waste receptacles to ensure provision in areas of need

- Coordinate provision of bins, skips, and collections by waste contractors

- Ensure adherence to work schedules

- Prevent disruptions to client operations

- Operate balers and compactors, and other equipment

- Report defects of equipment promptly

- Complete check sheets as required

- Maintain excellent housekeeping of all waste areas

- Support communication and awareness activities

- Liaise with Site Waste Manager to deliver customer satisfaction

- Take on new skills to enhance the company's profile and service offering

- Participate in induction, manual handling, FLT, and compactor and baler training
