## Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Therapist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Speech Language Therapist, you will be responsible for building a strong Speech Language Therapy program, optimizing patient functionality and skills, and evaluating and treating residents after receiving written orders from physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective Speech Language Therapy programs for patients

- Evaluate and treat residents based on physician orders

- Conduct screenings of facility residents

- Complete necessary documentation and attend required meetings

- Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop programs tailored to resident needs

- Provide consultation and clinical supervision to SLP-CFY

- Maintain valid state licensure and stay current with industry developments

- Facilitate family and facility staff in-services and education

- Assist the facility in meeting state and federal certification standards

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Speech and Hearing Sciences

- State licensure or proof of registration to complete Clinical Fellowship year in Speech Pathology

- ASHA certification or proof of ASHA certification through grandfathering process

- Excellent communication and time management skills

- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations

Preferred Qualifications:

- Senior living experience

- PDPM knowledge

- Experience with therapy software/EMR

- Medicaid case mix knowledge
