## Description

Zscaler is seeking an Applied AI Architect, HR to join its team. This hybrid role, located in Santa Clara, CA or Bellevue, WA, reports to the AI Transformation Director in the Global People & Culture Organization.

The successful candidate will drive the transformation of Human Resources around Human + AI optimization. They will spearhead the transition to an AI-native HR function by encoding the judgment of best practitioners into safe, governed agents that integrate with human ingenuity.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and improve impactful and high-risk agents using Gemini agent builder, Claude, Codex, and MCP integrations.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to build domain-specific agents and transfer technical craft.

- Redesign workflows to solve fundamental process issues.

- Monitor adoption, diagnose failures, and guide stakeholders.

- Partner with the AI Center of Excellence and Forward Deployed Engineering team to solve technical integration challenges.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated hands-on experience building AI agents, automations, or tools.

- Technical fluency to design agents architecture and instructions.

- Track record of taking solutions from problem identification through real adoption.

- Highly autonomous and self-directed.

Preferred qualifications:

- Intersection of engineering depth and HR practice.

- Deep understanding of balancing cutting-edge agent building with HR operations realities.

- Experience with early-stage, high-impact opportunities.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $117,250-$167,500 USD.
