## Description

The Procurement Site Specialist (SPS) partners with the local Site team to drive and support all dimensions of Procurement delivery.

At a strategic level, the SPS supports alignment with the Site Leadership Team, ensures Site business needs and priorities are understood and supported by Global Category Procurement teams, and contributes to the strategic management of key suppliers.

From a tactical perspective, the SPS supports the local Procurement team in operational management, implementation of sourcing strategies, and other global projects. They ensure daily needs and transactional activities are executed according to GSK's policies and SOPs, and provide relevant and effective communication to the local Procurement team and stakeholders.

**Business Strategy**

- Support development of long-term plans to improve Procurement processes and enhance Site performance.

- Implement new processes and ensure compliance with GSK's policies and SOPs.

- Balance expectations of Procurement and Site stakeholders.

- Ensure Site requirements are considered in Global Category strategies.

**Procurement Management**

- Develop a long-term vision for local purchasing categories to support GSK's growth.

- Develop and manage the Site supply base to meet GSK's requirements.

- Reduce Directs, Manufacturing Indirects, and Capex costs.

- Support the reduction of end-to-end total costs.

**Risk Management**

- Integrate a risk management approach into Procurement.

- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with local suppliers and single sourcing.

**Business Compliance Management**

- Secure business compliance with Business Owners at the Site through TPRM and contract conclusions.

**Requirements**

- 3-5 years of operational procurement experience across multiple categories of spend.

- Awareness of Procurement tools, cost benchmarking, financial audit, and risk management.

- Understanding of GMP.

- Fluent Japanese and intermediate-level English.
