## Description

We are seeking a Porter to join the team at Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield. This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week with a flexible shift pattern.

As a Porter, you will undertake various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

- Moving patients, equipment, and goods around the hospital

- Escorting patients and family members to different areas of the hospital and providing information about hospital facilities and services

- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers

- Ensuring patient comfort and dignity are maintained at all times

- Contributing to the security of the hospital by following security protocols and conducting external patrols as needed

- Completing all relevant mandatory training

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Frontline customer-facing experience

- Previous experience in a healthcare, hotel, or hospitality setting would be beneficial

- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2

- Proficiency in using a PC, including software and systems
