## Description

As an Operations Manager at Swiggy, you will lead a team of area managers to optimize operational efficiency and achieve performance targets.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and managing a large team, setting performance expectations and goals

- Liaising between implementation, operations strategy, and area teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, logistics, and customer experience

- Performing cost analysis, reporting, and managing schedules, quality initiatives, and process changes

- Designing and executing employee retention plans and determining staffing and training requirements

- Improving systems, processes, and policies to support management reporting and business metrics

- Ensuring a disciplined fleet of delivery executives, resolving disputes, and maintaining a healthy work environment

- Supporting area managers in designing payout structures that motivate and reward desired behaviors and performance

- Ensuring flawless delivery services, meeting customer satisfaction targets, and providing coaching and feedback to area managers

The ideal candidate will have:

- A postgraduate degree with 4-6 years of experience in process design and operations implementation, preferably in logistics or supply chain management

- Strong operational, analytical, and numerical skills, with the ability to use data effectively

- Excellent leadership, time management, and multitasking skills, with experience managing blue-collar employees

- A passion for delivering positive customer experiences, maintaining composure in difficult situations, and good communication skills
