## Description

We are seeking a Senior Underwriter to join our team in Oberhaching, Germany.

As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for analysing and evaluating complex risks in the special insurance sector, particularly in personal insurance branches such as accident, health, life, and travel insurance.

Your tasks will include:

- Risk assessment: independently and precisely analysing and evaluating complex risks

- Contract design: developing, calculating, and adjusting insurance contracts to meet the specific needs of our clients

- Market analysis: identifying market trends, creating market and competitive analyses, and identifying new business opportunities

- Customer consulting: working closely with our brokers to develop, offer, and explain tailored insurance solutions

- Contract review: reviewing and approving insurance contracts to ensure they meet internal standards and regulatory requirements

- Claims management: supporting the processing of claims, particularly with regard to the interpretation of insurance conditions and the assessment of coverage obligations

- Documentation: creating and maintaining detailed risk reports and assessments, as well as all other relevant documents

Requirements:

- Completed training as an insurance professional or a degree in law or business administration

- Preferably experience in risk assessment for special insurance, particularly in accident, health, and/or life insurance

- Good knowledge of the English language

- Strong analytical skills for assessing complex and diverse risks

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications

- Team-oriented and willing to learn
