## Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Cyber Security (Penetration Testing, People Leader) to join our team.

Capital One Offensive Security reduces cyber risk by uncovering vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the enterprise cyber environment through coordinated ethical hacking and penetration testing scenarios.

As a Senior Manager, you will lead and oversee penetration testing of enterprise networks, services, applications, and infrastructure. You will contribute to the development of a comprehensive penetration testing strategy that aligns with the organization's overall security objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and overseeing penetration testing of enterprise networks, services, applications, and infrastructure

- Contributing to the development of a comprehensive penetration testing strategy

- Analyzing penetration testing results and providing actionable insights to relevant stakeholders

- Staying abreast of emerging threats and attack techniques

- Providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional development and enhance the team's overall capabilities

- Working with developers on remediation guidance and improvements throughout the Software CI/CD pipeline

- Clearly and effectively conveying technical information and results to diverse audiences

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree

- At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology

- At least 6 years of experience evaluating, contributing to, or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities

- At least 3 years of experience in People Leadership

- At least 4 years of experience in Penetration Testing

- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- At least 1 year of experience scripting with Python, Golang, or C#

Preferred qualifications:

- 8+ years of security testing experience

- 8+ years of experience with threat modeling concepts and frameworks

- Experience developing Offensive Security tools

- Experience with code review and secure coding standards

- OSCP, OSWA, OSWE, OSCE3, GPEN, GXPN, or CRTO certification

Salary: McLean, VA: $229,900 - $262,400 New York, NY: $250,800 - $286,200 Richmond, VA: $209,000 - $238,500
