## Description

As one of our Technician Specialists, you'll bring our distinctive John Lewis service to customers' doors, installing products like furniture, kitchen appliances, and TV sets as part of a 2-person delivery crew driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.

You'll also coach and develop other delivery drivers in your team on home installations and customer service skills, acting as a role model for the great service John Lewis is known for.

In addition to your contractual pay, you'll receive Evening Premiums (£3.25 per hour) for work between 18:00 - 22:00 and Night Premiums (£4.25 per hour) for work between 22:00 - 06:00.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide great customer service as an ambassador for the John Lewis brand.

- Coach, develop, and assess delivery driver colleagues.

- Help load the lorry with daily deliveries.

- Install products efficiently and demonstrate how they work.

- Maintain a safe working environment and handle unexpected situations.

- Keep up to date with new products and technologies.

**Essential Skills/Experience**

- Previous installation experience.

- Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).

- DCPC or Drivers Qualification Card and Tachograph Card.

- Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.

- Previous customer-facing experience.

- Great verbal communication skills.

- Good understanding of technology.

**Desirable Skills/Experience**

- Experience in home delivery and installation of electrical and furniture products.

- Installation and disconnection of white goods.

- Electrical installations and TV Wall mounts.

- Assembly of flat packs.

**Job Details**

- Pay: £34,500 - £46,500 per year.

- Contract Type: Permanent.

- Hours: 41 hours per week, across 4 days on a 5-week rota.

- Job Level: Partnership Level 9.
