## Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Presales Systems Engineer to join their HPE Networking team in Northern California. The successful candidate will provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex solutions created to meet and exceed customer business requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Create and define technological roadmaps for pre-assigned clients

- Develop and document technology solutions and proposals designed to meet customer business requirements

- Implement and support customer Proof of Concept engagements

- Maintain knowledge of competitive solution offerings

- Interface with internal and external experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions development

- Participate in proposal development and support technical aspects related to deal closure

- Build and develop meaningful relationships based on technical expertise and business acumen

- Understand the HPE channel and create relationships with HPE partners to increase sales via the channel

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field

- Minimum of 5+ years of technical professional, pre-sales/post-sales experience

- Extensive experience in Networking, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, security, SASE, and Network Management platforms

- Specific Networking certifications (Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc.)

- Experience in Network Access Security

- Effective communication and customer-facing skills

- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate on solution development
