## Description

We are seeking a Factory Automation Technical Specialist to join our team in Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang (Penang), Malaysia. This role is responsible for developing proactive work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets and meticulously managing work orders in the asset management system.

**Responsibilities**

- Develop work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintenance.

- Create and diligently close work orders, including accurate data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts utilized in the asset management system.

- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance.

- Operate, monitor, and maintain facility systems, responding promptly to abnormal conditions.

- Engage in troubleshooting tasks to identify issues in non-operational equipment and execute equipment modifications as instructed.

- Document work orders and service logs for equipment repairs, inspections, installations, and parts replacement.

- Coordinate departmental work, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure effective business controls for streamlined processes.

- Lead and assign responsibilities for complex requests, contributing innovative concepts, and implementing changes for process improvement.

- Analyze tasks, collaborate with internal partners, and provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level roles to enhance organizational performance.

**Education & Experience**

- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

- Typically has 8+ years of related work experience, preferably in equipment diagnosis, technical repair, blueprint reading, or a related field.
