## Description

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will advise a diverse set of customers on the capabilities of the Auth0 Identity Platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive discovery to understand customer requirements and desired business outcomes

- Collaborating with the sales team to progress opportunities and manage technical sales progression

- Building sales presentations, product demonstrations, and educating customers on cloud security technology

- Validating solutions through custom demonstrations and proof-of-concepts

- Empathising with customers to discern their technical needs and presenting targeted solutions

- Maintaining a broad and deep technical understanding of the Auth0 product line and underlying technologies

- Engaging in local and regional sales and marketing events

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Experience in a pre-sales role as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer

- The ability to articulate complex ideas on the fly, ideally at a whiteboard

- Experience in a customer-facing role such as consulting, support, teaching, or pre-sales

- Familiarity with at least one standard identity protocol (e.g., OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)

- Strong development background with proficiency in at least one backend stack and a popular frontend stack

- Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs

- Understanding of core security concerns within a typical application

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate business value

The role is based in the London office, with an expectation of spending 2-3 days a week meeting with customers or collaborating with the team.

The annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for this position is between £119,000-£160,000 GBP.
