## Description

We are seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Greensburg, Indiana. The successful candidate will support continuous improvement related to safety, quality, and delivery efforts, and will be responsible for identifying root causes of complex problems, managing projects, and implementing engineering countermeasures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform problem-solving and root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues

- Maintain equipment online and develop solutions to increase uptime

- Install new equipment and manage projects to implement new equipment for continuous improvement activities

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience/skills

- 0-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, assembly manufacturing environment, mechanical systems, and 3D CAD software

- Project management skills and ability to work within a team environment

**Working Conditions:**

- The role requires working in a manufacturing environment where you will be able to physically perform jobs on the assembly line (lifting >10lbs, walking/standing 8 hrs/day, etc.)

- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and overtime (less than 5 hours/week)

- Travel required for 1-4 trips/year, both domestic and international
