## Description

Electronic Arts is looking for a talented and detail-oriented UI Artist to create visually compelling and intuitive player experiences for our mobile games. This role combines strong artistic execution with hands-on implementation inside Unity, requiring close collaboration with UX Designers, Game Designers, Artists, and Engineers.

Responsibilities:

- Create high-quality UI assets, including HUDs, menus, icons, rewards, popups, stores, progression screens, and other in-game interface elements.

- Design and implement UI screens, layouts, and visual elements within Unity while maintaining visual fidelity and functionality.

- Collaborate closely with UX Designers to translate wireframes, player flows, and interaction requirements into polished player-facing experiences.

- Work with Game Designers, Artists, and Engineers to ensure UI supports gameplay goals and technical requirements.

- Implement responsive UI layouts using Unity UGUI, Canvas systems, Anchors, Layout Groups, and Prefab workflows.

- Prepare production-ready assets with proper slicing, optimization, naming conventions, and export pipelines.

- Create and support UI animations, transitions, and visual polish to enhance the player experience.

- Ensure UI consistency across a wide range of mobile devices, resolutions, and aspect ratios.

- Support UI asset integration and management using Unity Addressables and established production workflows.

- Maintain organized project files, prefabs, documentation, and UI libraries to support efficient team collaboration.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve UI-related visual, functional, and implementation issues.

- Optimize UI assets and layouts for mobile performance, memory usage, and scalability.

- Contribute to improving UI pipelines, workflows, and best practices across the team.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in UI Art, Game UI Design, or UI implementation within the games industry.

- Strong visual design fundamentals, including composition, hierarchy, typography, color theory, layout design, and visual communication.

- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Unity.

- Strong experience implementing UI using Unity UGUI, including Canvas systems, Anchors, Layout Groups, and responsive UI workflows.

- Experience creating and maintaining UI Prefabs and reusable UI components.

- Familiarity with Unity Addressable and UI asset management workflows.

- Experience collaborating with UX Designers to translate wireframes, user journeys, and interaction designs into polished in-game experiences.

- Understanding of UI animation, transitions, optimization, and production constraints.

- Experience supporting UI across multiple mobile resolutions, aspect ratios, and device specifications.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to balance artistic quality with technical and production requirements.

Nice to Have:

- Experience shipping mobile free-to-play or live-service games.

- Familiarity with motion graphics, UI VFX, or interactive animation workflows.

- Basic C# scripting knowledge related to Unity UI systems.

- Experience designing rewards, progression, inventory, store, economy, or monetization-related UI.

- Knowledge of accessibility, usability, and mobile UX best practices.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.
