## Description

The Advanced Industrial Technology and Platforms (ATP) organization at Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Development Operations Engineer to lead the development of new manufacturing technologies, processes, tooling, equipment, and engineering standards for the production of electric vehicles.

The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize manufacturing technology development initiatives aligned to global manufacturing objectives. They will also drive the manufacturing technology development and establish the technical core competency base within the ATP organization for the EV Manufacturing Core Commodity Areas, including e-Drive Assembly Systems and Battery Pack Assembly Systems.

Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with Product Design and Global Manufacturing Engineering teams to identify and prioritize manufacturing technology development initiatives

- Developing and implementing new manufacturing technologies, processes, tooling, equipment, and engineering standards

- Leading internal and external cross-functional teams to deliver new manufacturing technologies

- Managing project activities, budgets, and timelines

- Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of new manufacturing technologies

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Industrial/Systems Engineering or a related discipline, highly motivated with strong leadership, motivation, and team-building skills, exceptional project management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and adeptness with digital 3D/simulation tools and methods.
