## Description

We're seeking an experienced Weekend Model Maker to join our team, responsible for assembling models, preparing parts and assemblies for our Aerodynamic program, and enhancing the development of our F1 race car.

The successful candidate will work closely with our model shop team, Aerodynamicists, and Additive Manufacturing team to provide parts for wind tunnel testing, splitting their time between our wind tunnel facility in Bedford and our UK HQ in Milton Keynes.

**Responsibilities**

- Model Making:

- Develop our wind tunnel model and testing program with the model shop staff and Aero department

- Investigate new technologies and concepts for parts and procedures

- Create and maintain a positive work environment to promote growth and progression

- Communicate effectively with external groups to ensure timely delivery of high-quality parts

- Execute day-to-day tasks with attention to detail and manage timelines effectively

- Professionalism:

- Maintain good relationships with colleagues and support staff

- Provide flexible attendance and a professional attitude to work

- Promote a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors

**Requirements**

- Previous automotive experience, preferably with engineering background and within F1

- Strong understanding of high-quality part manufacture and model assembly techniques

- Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to fluctuating demands and schedules

- Ability to scope tasks thoroughly, work effectively under pressure, and deliver timely information

- Willingness to help improve processes and work professionally with colleagues

- Availability to work at both our Bedford wind tunnel facility and Milton Keynes HQ
