Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, offering a range of services from food delivery to financial management and transportation. The company's Financial Services business operates across six countries in Southeast Asia, with engineering teams based in India, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Bangalore. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work independently to build, deploy, and manage critical data science models. You will be expected to solve complex technical problems and grow into an expert in both batch and real-time data science use cases.

Responsibilities:

- Develop an understanding of Grab's Financial Services and Banking data and its nuances across countries.

- Use Large Language Models (LLMs) to power the next generation of customer experiences.

- Manage the entire end-to-end lifecycle of ML models and AI agents.

- Work with engineering, compliance, and operation teams to create solutions and product changes.

- Stay current with the latest AI/LLM research and new frameworks.

Daily Activities:

- Predictive Modelling: Build predictive models using machine learning.

- MLOps & Automation: Build end-to-end MLOps pipelines.

- Generative AI Development: Design and deploy Agentic solutions.

- Ownership and Collaboration: Design AI solutions by working backwards from our needs.

Qualifications:

- Core ML: Expert proficiency in Python, Spark, and SQL.

- Generative AI & Agent Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Agentic frameworks.

- MLOps & Productionization: Expertise in productionizing ML solutions with MLOps tools.

- Real-Time Streaming: Experience in the real-time implementation of machine learning solutions.
