## Description

We are seeking an Assistant NEC Supervisor/Inspector to support the NEC Supervisor on the A9 Tomatin to Moy project, a major Design and Build project with an estimated tender value of £186 million.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience as a highways or structures inspector on major transport infrastructure schemes, and extensive experience in supervising contractors' activities and monitoring compliance with the contract scope.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting the NEC Supervisor in fulfilling their duties related to the construction of the Scheme

- Supervising contractors' activities and monitoring compliance with the contract scope

- Identifying and recording contractors' compliance with the works information

- Notifying defects or Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and overseeing correction of such defects or NCRs

- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all site activities

- Having thorough knowledge and understanding of the Specification for Highways Works

- Being competent with ITS systems and able to learn relevant software needed to perform the role
