## Description

Priory Hospital Roehampton is seeking a Sessional CAMHS/CBT Therapist to join their dedicated team.

The successful candidate will be part of a compassionate team providing specialist care for depression, anxiety, and addictions. They offer tailored treatment for substance addictions and behavioural addictions. The team takes a personalised approach using proven therapies to help patients move forward with confidence.

## Key Responsibilities

As a CAMHS Therapist, you will assist qualified staff with assessing and implementing individual patient care plans. You will undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of patients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reporting directly to the Outpatient Therapy Lead and managing a caseload of patients and couples.

- Scheduling appointments, providing therapeutic interventions, and delivering feedback based on assessments and agreed treatment plans.

- Maintaining clinical records to the highest standards, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all documentation.

- Adhering strictly to incident reporting and safeguarding protocols.

- Demonstrating strong knowledge and experience of safeguarding and clinical governance.

## Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

The successful candidate will be an accredited member of the BACP or UKCP and have at least 5 years' experience of working with young people aged 12 to 20. They will have a recognised qualification in CBT theory and practice and have BABCP or BACP membership and accreditation. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team in acute mental health services is desirable.
