## Description

We are seeking an experienced IBM MQ /ACE Middleware Engineer to join our team in Kraków, Poland.

As a Middleware Engineer, you will design, implement, and support IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise ACE platforms. You will partner closely with software delivery teams, infrastructure teams, and security to deliver secure, scalable solutions that perform well in production. Your responsibilities will include:

- Owning delivery of complex infrastructure projects across data centres and regions under demanding timelines

- Installing, configuring, and administering IBM MQ and IBM ACE environments

- Designing and implementing secure, scalable messaging and integration solutions

- Automating deployment, configuration, and operational tasks using Ansible

- Integrating and managing secrets using HashiCorp Vault

- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for MQ and ACE deployments

- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising MQ and ACE performance and availability

- Participating in 24x7 on-call production support and critical incident support while maintaining documentation and compliance standards

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

- Substantial hands-on experience administering IBM MQ, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, clustering, and security

- Hands-on administration experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise ACE and IIB

- Experience with monitoring tools and log management solutions, including ITM monitoring

- Automation skills using Ansible, including playbook development, roles, and inventory management

- Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and integration

- Skills in creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for automated deployments

- Scripting skills in Shell and Python for automation and operational tasks

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, including handling L3 production issues and working effectively under pressure
