## Description

ACCEL Schools is hiring a highly qualified 3rd/4th Grade Teacher at Columbus Bilingual Central in Columbus, Ohio. The teacher will be dedicated to providing a superior education for all students.

The school fosters bilingualism and celebrates Latino heritage, opening in Fall 2025. The foundation rests on a strong educational and behavioral framework for students in grades K-5.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and delivering lesson plans, modifying them as needed

- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students

- Maintaining accurate records of students' progress and development

- Utilizing research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction

- Managing student behavior in the classroom

- Creating a positive classroom environment for students to learn

- Implementing school-wide culture expectations and norms

- Communicating with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth

- Incorporating technology skills into daily classroom practice

- Participating in non-instructional activities as needed

- Collaborating with colleagues

Requirements:

- Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area

- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field

- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to properly manage confidential information

- Ability to supervise students of various ages in different school settings

- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks

- Experience working within an urban environment
