## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Waitrose & Partners, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality produce and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

You will be driving a well-equipped, modern vehicle, and your main goal will be to provide a friendly and professional service to our customers. You will handle customer orders, respond to any issues, and ensure that products are delivered safely and efficiently.

Your day will typically start in-store, where you will familiarize yourself with your delivery route and conduct a safety check on your vehicle. You will then visit customers, deliver their orders, and handle any queries they may have.

In addition to your driving duties, you will also be expected to assist with general warehouse tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the store.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Handle customer orders, including responding to any issues or queries

- Deliver products safely and efficiently, ensuring that they are treated with care

- Conduct safety checks on your vehicle and ensure that it is roadworthy

- Assist with general warehouse tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the store

**Requirements:**

- Be 18 years or older

- Hold a full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points

- Possess excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service

- Be physically capable of lifting crates, walking up stairs, and moving large cages (approximately up to 18kg)

**Desirable Skills:**

- Previous experience driving for work or knowledge of refrigerated vans

**Pay and Benefits:**

- £14.31 per hour

- Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for work between 22:00 and 06:00

- Permanent contract

- Varied hours of part-time work (16 hours) across seven days, including weekends
