## Description

The Medical Executive, Provider Engagement & Market Presence is a physician executive based in a region that enables effective support of the Northeast, without requiring Northeast residency.

The role strengthens provider relationships and builds purposeful, sustained clinical presence in the Northeast region and other assigned markets.

**Primary Responsibilities**

- Advance an approved portfolio of provider partnerships with clear objectives, executive sponsors, and joint workplans.

- Build executive and clinician relationships within assigned partnerships.

- Build structured market presence through planned provider visits, listening sessions, forums, and external representation coordinated with regional leaders, Network, Communications, and market teams.

- Partner with Payment Model Innovation on clinical model design, provider readiness, and deployment of value-based care initiatives.

- Coordinate clinical implementation, address barriers through established escalation pathways, and document lessons and handoffs to regional or operational owners.

- Maintain market knowledge of the Northeast region, contribute to shared regional duties as assigned, and provide designated, time-bound regional backup.

- Participate in shared medical director meetings, reporting, planning, training, compliance, and team commitments.

**Qualifications**

- MD or DO; active, unrestricted medical license; board certification in an ABMS-recognized specialty.

- Minimum 5 years of clinical practice and minimum 3 years of healthcare leadership, payer, network, provider relations, or value-based care experience.

- Ability to develop provider partnerships and influence executives, physician leaders, and cross-functional teams.

- Strong understanding of healthcare economics, clinical quality, utilization, population health, and performance improvement.

- Excellent communication, public speaking, relationship-building, and executive presence skills.

**Location & Travel**

- Based in a region that enables effective support of the Northeast; location within the Northeast is not required.

- Travel is required for assigned partnerships and planned conferences, community events, and other external engagements in the Northeast region and beyond.
