## Description

WSP is currently seeking a Prestressed Concrete Inspector to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

This is a technical field and office position that requires the candidate to perform QA Services at Concrete Plants in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

The ideal candidate will have a valid PCI Level 2 or PCI Level 3 Certification with experience in concrete and prestressed concrete inspections for highway and bridge construction.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect concrete and Prestressed Concrete used for highway construction and bridge construction materials, including girders and panels

- Monitor for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications

- Communicate and interact with owners, fabricators, engineers, and other project personnel at fabrication facilities

- Document and write daily shop/field reports in digital format, take photographs, and provide narrative for those photographs

- Participate in WSP safety meetings

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Current PCI Level 2 or PCI Level 3 Certification

- Experience performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control

- Dependability, honesty, and integrity

- Computer skills: Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work well independently and with other team members

- Decision-making skills

- Initiative-taker

- Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight stays when out of town

- Possession and maintenance of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

- Sufficient physical stamina to work long hours indoors and outdoors under various field conditions and exposure to traffic, extreme heat, cold, rainfall, and snow

- Ability to lift 25+ lbs.

- Pass a physical and background check and have a satisfactory driving record
