## Description

Our friendly, dynamic, and talented team requires a motivated and experienced children's nurse to join them. The role involves working in the Paediatric A&E Department at Hillingdon Hospital, which provides care to infants, children, young people, and their families/carers from a diverse population.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care

- Acting as a supervisor to student nurses in training and assessor once full training is completed

- Facilitating the professional and clinical development of paediatric practice through the application of research

- Providing clinical support to the infants', children's and young people's Emergency Department

- Ensuring effective communication with children and families

- Maintaining accurate and legible patient documentation

- Assessing a child's individual needs and recognising a sick child

In return, we offer training in Manchester Triage, venepuncture, cannulation, and plaster of Paris application, as well as opportunities to apply for APLS/EPLS certification, emergency Nurses Course, and Advanced Trauma Nursing Courses.

The salary for this role is £36,943 to £44,900 per annum.
