## Description

This is a permanent, full-time Catering Manager role at Magna Park Distribution Centre (John Lewis & Partners) in Milton Keynes, with a salary range of £28,400 - £38,600 per annum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Ensuring food safety requirements are maintained

- Providing full site and department induction training from day 1

- Completing online Food Safety Level 2 training within 3 months and Food Safety Level 3 training afterwards

- Delegating tasks to Catering Assistants

- Facilitating training for Catering Assistants

- Inducting new starters

- Using the Food Monitoring System

- Creating weekly rotas and planning

- Ordering supplies and uniforms online

- Updating departmental invoicing and sales details

- Supporting Team Managers with interviews

- Ensuring vending operations deliver excellent service

- Managing stock inventory and replenishing machines

The ideal candidate will have:

- Team management experience

- Stakeholder management or senior influencing skills

- IT literacy, including Google programmes and Excel

Desirable skills include:

- Food Safety Level 2 and 3 qualifications

- Operational experience in dining room facilities and the hospitality industry

In addition to the contractual pay, an Evening Premium of £3.25 per hour will be applied for work between 18:00 - 22:00, and a Night Premium of £4.25 per hour for work between 22:00 - 06:00.

The working pattern is a 4-week rolling rota, working 11:30 - 19:30, with one Saturday and Sunday working and one Saturday only.
