## Description

Okta is looking for a Staff FullStack Engineer to join the Secures AI team. The team is building the industry's first Identity Security Fabric for the agentic era.

As a Staff Fullstack Engineer, your mission is to build this fabric, ensuring that Okta operationalizes its North Star: "To get AI right, you have to get identity right."

You will lead the technical implementation of a four-pillar maturity model,Discover, Onboard, Protect, and Govern,to provide enterprise-grade visibility and governance for both human and non-human identities.

Responsibilities:

- Proactively shape the technical strategy of the Identity Security Fabric

- Govern and monitor agentic behavior by implementing the four-pillar maturity model

- Architect for the agentic era, ensuring systems can discover and secure all agents

- Enforce secure access and least privilege for agents

- Drive continual evolution in the adoption of AI-native development practices

- Proactively identify and prioritize tech debt; drive improvements

- Partner with Product and Design to understand and own the desired customer outcome

- Actively invest in the growth of peer engineers

Requirements:

- Operates well beyond basic AI tool usage

- Proven experience defining scalable backend architectures and integrating complex APIs

- Solid understanding of web authentication and authorization fundamentals

- Deep expertise in building highly reliable, secure, enterprise-grade software using Java or another type-safe programming language

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, with experience designing and operating large-scale services on AWS
