## Description

We are seeking a Customer and Trading Manager to lead our convenience store in Redcar, Cleveland. As a Customer and Trading Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of colleagues.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Work closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly every day.

- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager in with accountability for the full shop.

- Work alongside a team to complete all tasks, ensuring customers are served efficiently and safely.

- Manage performance and capability, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure scheduling and pay are accurate.

- Help another store occasionally if needed.

**Requirements:**

- Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.

- Experience in providing brilliant customer service and coaching a team to do the same.

- Ability to deliver KPIs and other performance indicators.

- Experience in managing disciplinaries, performance issues, and other employee relations issues.

- Leadership skills, with the ability to operate independently in the absence of more senior management.

**Essential Criteria:**

- A track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.

- Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

- Operational leadership skills.

- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs.

- Experience in managing employee relations issues.
