## Description

Mind in West Essex is part of a national Trailblazer programme, following the government's green paper 'Transforming children and young people's mental health provision' (Dec 2017). The Children and Young People's (CYP) Mental Health Support Teams work with children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, and their parents/caregivers. As a Trainee Clinical Supervisor in our MHST Team, you will provide clinical skills and case management supervision to trainee and qualified EMHP staff, hold your own small caseload, and deliver MHST interventions in schools.

The role involves:

- Providing clinical and case management supervision to team members

- Attending and completing a supervision training programme

- Supporting EMHPs in delivering a Whole School Approach service

- Assessing and developing evidence-based treatment plans for CYP with emotional and mental health difficulties

- Delivering low-intensity interventions for CYP aged 5-18

- Working in partnership with children, young people, families, and educators

- Maintaining comprehensive records of training and clinical activity

- Ensuring outcome measures are routinely embedded in clinical work

- Participating in individual appraisal and responding to agreed objectives

The salary for this permanent, full-time role is £39,965.31 per year, plus HCAS Fringe where applicable.
