## Description

We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to join our Digital Marketing Cloud Platform Services team. As a critical member of the team, you will provide technical leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Commercial D&T/GSK Internet Cloud systems, aligning with Agile and DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, enhance, implement, and support the adoption of Internet Cloud standards across GSK Digital Marketing Services and other Tech Teams.

- Work as a technical leader within the Digital Marketing Platform Services team, influencing and driving technical standards, architecture, and decision-making.

- Contribute to the Digital Marketing Platform roadmap and Target Architecture, working closely with various GSK Enterprise Architecture teams.

- Manage large DNS services for GSK Internet platform (over 3,000 domains managed).

- Ensure technical delivery is fully compliant with GSK Security, Quality, and Regulatory standards.

- Foster close links with customers, related Solution groups, and product owners.

- Manage and keep relevant technical documentation up to date.

- Pro-actively engage in experimentation and innovation to drive improvement.

Technical Engineering & Architectural Leadership:

- Devising multi-year technical roadmap for Digital Marketing Cloud Platforms.

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance digital marketing cloud architectures.

- Lead the architectural design and implementation of cloud-based marketing platforms.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes.

Technical Expertise:

- Provide hands-on technical leadership and expertise in cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, and AWS.

- Oversee the development and deployment of marketing technology hosting platform solutions.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

- Ensure the integration of various digital marketing tools and platforms.

Digital Marketing Strategy:

- Collaborate with cross-functional GSK Tech teams to define and execute digital marketing strategies.

- Analyze Digital Marketing Platform data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in digital marketing.

Security and Compliance:

- Ensure that all digital marketing solutions comply with GSK and industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.

- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive GSK data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in digital marketing technology, cloud platforms, and architecture.

- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based marketing solutions.

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing technical teams.
