## Description

We are seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our Resources subsector team in Sudbury, Ontario or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As a senior subject matter expert, you will lead the design and delivery of instrumentation and control systems for mining and heavy industrial facilities.

**Your Impact**

- Lead the design and act as the senior technical subject matter expert on the delivery of instrumentation and control systems for mining and heavy industrial facilities

- Oversee control philosophy, system architecture, and functional specifications for complex process systems

- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams to ensure fully integrated project solutions

- Drive innovation by applying advanced automation, digitalization, and control technologies

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality reviews for project teams

- Support project execution through all phases,from concept to commissioning and operational optimization

- Engage with clients to understand operational needs and deliver tailored, high-value engineering solutions

- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all deliverables

**The Skills That Set You Apart**

- At least 18+ years of electrical engineering design experience supporting heavy industrial facilities

- Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline

- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation

- Extensive experience leading and delivering instrumentation and controls engineering within mining or heavy industrial sectors

- Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and process automation platforms

- Proven ability to develop control narratives, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and I/O lists

- Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational support in industrial environments

- Strong understanding of safety systems, hazardous area classification, and applicable codes and standards

- Ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior staff while maintaining high technical excellence
