## Description

We are seeking a System Administrator – Server & Clients to join our team at Vattenfall Wasserkraft GmbH, a leading energy storage company operating pump storage power plants in Germany.

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical safety and availability of our server and client landscape, including monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of our systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining and improving our server and client infrastructure across all locations

- Identifying and implementing measures to ensure technical safety and availability, as well as securing and increasing plant stability and effectiveness

- Collaborating on planning and implementing system changes and optimisations

- Managing budgets and providing cost-effective solutions

- Supervising service partners for engineering services

- Participating in acceptance testing, commissioning, and releasing completed and repaired plant components

To qualify for this role, you will need:

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Experience in client-server structures under Windows and Linux, syslog, monitoring, WSUS, backup and virus protection, virtualisation environments (ESXi, VMware), NAS, AD, asset and vulnerability management

- Excellent reliability, responsibility, decision-making, organisational and teamwork skills

- A valid driving licence (Class B)

- Knowledge of KRITIS requirements for energy generators is desirable
