## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality produce and providing exceptional customer service to customers in the Formby area.

You will be driving a modern, well-serviced vehicle and will be expected to handle products and deliveries with care, as well as interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers

- Handling and delivering products with care

- Communicating with customers about any changes to their order

- Familiarising yourself with your delivery route for the day

- Conducting safety checks on your vehicle

- Assisting with general warehouse tasks when not on the road

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-Category) with no more than 6 penalty points

- Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service

- The ability to lift crates and move large cages, approximately no heavier than 18kg

- To be 18 or older

In addition to your contractual pay, you will be eligible for Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00.

The role is temporary, working 15 hours per week, with varied hours across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends.
