## Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Greensboro, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies and leading a team of strategic sourcing leaders, tactical buyers, and project engineers.

The Senior Manager, Procurement will play a key role in supporting business unit objectives by developing and overseeing the implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives. This will involve managing a team and influencing cross-functional teams to support activities such as new product introduction, obsolescence, and risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives

- Providing direct management and oversight of tactical activities associated with assigned commodities

- Reviewing and approving supply chain documentation and business-critical decisions

- Leading integrated product teams through cross-functional project activities

- Interacting with internal and external leadership teams to facilitate the exchange of business-critical information

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor of Science in engineering or supply chain discipline, with a Master's degree highly preferred

- 15 years of combined experience in supply chain, manufacturing planning, logistics management, design, manufacturing, quality, operations engineering, new product development, or project management

- 5 years of experience within the aerospace industry, preferred

- Workable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Established records of sourcing capabilities

- Ability to analyze business metrics to evaluate supplier performance, supply chain efficiency, product quality, and cost effectiveness
