## Description

We are seeking a Stationary Steam Engineer to join our team at the Sharonville Transmission Plant (STP).

As a Stationary Steam Engineer, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing air compressors, refrigeration equipment, and various types of combustion equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Operate, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, refrigeration equipment, and combustion equipment

- Troubleshoot combustion firing controls, refrigeration equipment, and related safety devices with a strong electrical background

- Obtain and maintain a boiler operating license from the state/municipality

- Perform water testing and treatment, chemical treatment, and chemical unloading for various processes in compliance with environmental regulations

- Maintain pumps and have knowledge of blueprint reading and layout, CAD, and pneumatic fluid systems

- Work effectively in a team environment, treating coworkers with dignity and respect

- Adapt to changing schedules, shifts, and work overtime as needed

- Comply with safety rules and procedures

Qualifications:

- Completed a bona fide apprenticeship or 8 years of previous experience in the trade

- Combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program

- CFC certification

- Boiler operating license from the state/municipality

- Experience with water testing and treatment, chemical treatment, and chemical unloading

- Knowledge of blueprint reading and layout, CAD, and pneumatic fluid systems

Salary and Benefits:

- Top hourly base rate of $45.115, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums

- Starting rate of $44.915 with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment
