## Description

As a Supermarket Assistant at Waitrose & Partners in Witney, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Your drive to go the extra mile will make all the difference to the impression customers have about the Waitrose brand, and you will earn their trust and loyalty for a lifetime.

In addition to your contractual pay of £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days), any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Stock replenishment to ensure shelves remain full and products are in the right place at the right time.

- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.

- Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.

- Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout support and managing Click & Collect orders.

- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

**Essential Skills/Experience:**

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

**Desirable Skills/Experience:**

- Experience of working in a customer-facing role.

- Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.

- Flexible approach to support the whole branch.

The role involves varied hours of part-time work across seven nights, including evenings, nights, and weekends between 20:00 and 06:00. The contract type is temporary.
