## Description

Howden is seeking a New Business Account Handler to join their Motor Trade team in Brentwood. As a global insurance group, Howden supports clients through complex commercial risk landscapes, crafting bespoke solutions to empower businesses to navigate uncertainty and achieve growth.

The successful candidate will assist in achieving client retention targets, process new business quotes, handle client queries, and record relevant information on Acturis. They will also produce accurate documentation, process adjustments, and actively cross-sell products.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent client service

- Processing new business quotes and handling open quotes

- Ensuring premiums are collected prior to commencement of cover

- Handling client queries and recording relevant information

- Producing accurate documentation and processing adjustments

- Actively cross-selling products

Requirements:

- Working knowledge of General Insurance and CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR

- Minimum 12 months' sales experience, with a desire to pursue a career in insurance

- GCSEs A-C in Maths and English

- Excellent client service skills, negotiation and broking skills, and oral and written communication skills
